Britney Spears Extends Las Vegas Residency for ’Piece of Me’

Fans of Britney Spears will be happy to learn that the pop princess has announced her intention to extend her Britney: Piece of Me show at The Axis in Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.

The 33-year-old singer shared the news during her show, telling concertgoers that she inked a deal to extend her run in Sin City.

Spears spoke with E!, explaining, “When it came down to me really having to make this decision, I just couldn’t imagine ending my residency at the end of this year.”

Piece of Me kicked off in December 2013 and Britney performed her 100th show this past month.

According to Britney, “major changes” are on the way for the tour, which will include the addition of new songs, props and costumes.
