Josh Brolin Mocked an Actor That Sounds a Lot Like Ryan Gosling

Well this is awkward.
During an interview with Man of the World magazine, actor Josh Brolin got to talking about his tough guy reputation in Hollywood. However, when he began to sound off today’s young actors and their attempts to put up a similar front, he sounded like he was talking about Ryan Gosling.

I see young Hollywood punks on the set, and it’s funny to me. Because it’s absolutely me all over again. I’m the old guy who’s like, ‘Oh cool, you got your leather jacket and it cost you $400 and you bought it all ripped up!’

So here’s where things get interesting. He detailed a specific experience about a young man, and it sounds a lot like like The Big Short actor. ICYDK, Brolin and Gosling starred alongside each other in 2013’s Gangster Squad.
I remember a guy I worked with who was from Ontario, but he talked like De Niro. I was like, ‘Holy sh-t, he’s actually doing De Niro.’ Does he know that I know? I’m not even listening to what he’s saying. It’s fascinating to me.
Now, there are tons of actors from Canada, but which Canadian actor is: #1. from Ontario, #2. has an accent, and #3. wears leather jackets? All signs (and shade) point to Ryan Gosling, especially since he spoke out about adopting a “phony accent that he can’t shake” in his 2010 interview with magazine.
