Adeniyi said that the six Assistant Comptrollers-General would occupy the positions of Deputy-Comptrollers-General in acting capacity.
He said that officers appointed were ACG Idris Suleiman (Finance Administration and Technical Service); ACG Iya Umar (Tariff and Trade) and ACG Dan Ugo (Enforcement, Investigation and Inspection).
He added that others were ACG Grace Adeyemo (Excise, FTZ& Industrial Incentive); ACG Austin Warikoru (Human Resource Development) and ACG Paul Ukaigwe (Strategic Research and Policy).
Adeniyi said that eight Comptrollers were moved up to Assistant Comptrollers-General (ACG) in the exercise.
He said that the new ACGs are Comptroller Umar Sanusi ( Headquarters); Comptroller Funsho Adegoke (ACG ICT); Comptroller Mohammed Abbas (ACG Board) and Comptroller Olatunji Aremu (Command & Staff College).
He added that other officers also included Comptroller Charles Edike (Zonal Coordinator Zone ‘A’); Comptroller Abubakar Dangaladima (Zonal Coordinator Zone ‘B’); Comptroller Azarema Abdulkadir (Zonal Coordinator Zone ‘C’) and Comptroller Chidi Augustine (Zonal Coordinator Zone ‘D’).
According to Adeniyi, seven other officers were redeployed in the new exercise, including ACG Adesina Odunmbaku (Finance and Technical Service); ACG Robert Alu (Tariff and Trade); ACG Ade Dosumu (Enforcement and Drugs) and ACG Monday Abueh (Excise & Industrial Incentive).
He added that the redeployed officers also included ACG Ahmed Mohammed (Human Resource Management); ACG Patience Iferi (Strategic Research and Policy) and Comptroller Aminu Abba (Technical Services).
Adeniyi said that Ali urged the newly appointed officers to redouble their efforts to justify their new responsibilities, adding that the changes took immediate effect.
