Don Jazzy has a track-record of lending his amazing raspy vocals to chart topping singles.
Some of the best being The Koko featuring ex business partner, Dbanj, and in recent times Collabo featuring Psquare.
The music industry has continuously wondered if the Supreme Mavin Dynasty (SMD) leader would ever attempt to become a solo act, but Don Jazzy highly doubts that might ever happen.
In a chat with widestman at the recent Mavin event, the music producer said he’d rather concentrate on building talents as he doesn’t really see himself performing alone.
He said: “I can’t think about that now. I have people that need to blow. I’m happy bringing up people till death do me part. Already, I feel I’m singing too much.”
On future Mavin records activation, he said: “Well it depends on the ones I have now. Until they have gotten to that particular place where they can stand alone or give me space to pick new ones and blow, I’ll do that”.
The Mavin records stars are set to thrill fans in their first ever concert in Lagos at the new Eko Boulevard, Eko Atlantic city, on December 23.
