920-pound Godzilla has been caught in Alabama! Or at least his distant cousin.

Al.com reports that Scott Evans and Jeff and Justin Gregg hauled in a massive 13 foot, six inch 920-pound alligator from Lake Eufaula, setting a new record for the lake.
We hope they (and there 100 closets friends) are hungry, as the site says the gator will provide 250 pounds of meat. And probably enough skin to fashion a lovely pair of size 22 gator boots for Shaq.

This is believed to be second biggest alligator ever hunted in Alabama, the first being a 15 foot, nine inch 1,011.5-pound monster caught last year.
With all of these giant gators lurking in the waters of Alabama, we've never been so thrilled to work out of a newsroom in New York City.
