Okay, don’t freak or anything, but all your dreams are coming true and nothing else matters today.
Creative soulmates Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence aren’t just friends, they’re writing partners. And future co-stars. Yup, they’re writing a movie together in which they play sisters.
Okay, we’re freaking losing it inside.
The New York Times reported early this morning that J Law and her new BFF and every woman’s idol Schumer are almost done writing a comedic screenplay, and that they plan to co-star in it.
Lawrence said, “We play sisters. We’re almost done writing. It just flowed out of us. We’ve got about 100 pages right now.”
*YES*
She added that her and Amy met only a couple months ago, but instantly their relationship blossomed into a full-fledged friendship.
“I emailed her after I saw ‘Trainwreck’ and said, ‘I don’t know where to get started. I guess I should just say it: I’m in love with you.’ We started emailing, and then emailing turned to texting.”
Schumer and Lawrence notoriously went on the most obsessed-over vacation to the Hamptons earlier this month, in which they flaunted their bikini bods on jet-skis, floated on rafts, and played like maniacs.
“We really hit it off, to say the least,” Lawrence commented.
Um, yeah.
The New York Times then teased,
That is just a little taste for what is to come.
Thank you Amy, thank you Jennifer, thank you New York Times, for making our day amazing.

Amy and I were creatively made for each other. We have different flavors. It’s been the most fun experience of my life. We start the day off on the phone, laughing. And then we send each other pages. And we crack up. I’m flying out tomorrow to see her in Chicago. We’ll write a little bit with her sister, Kim, who worked with Amy when she was writing Trainwreck.CHECK IT OUT:920-pound Godzilla has been caught in Alabama! Or at least his distant cousin.

“Let me just text Amy and tell her that I told you,” she said, beginning to type. Ms. Schumer responded immediately. Ms. Lawrence glanced at the message, and threw her head back in laughter.READ ALSO: Khloe Kardashian goes even blonder
I wrote, ‘I just spilled the beans to The New York Times. Is that O.K.?’” she said. “And Amy wrote back, ‘That you’re gay? Totally! It’s exciting!’”
